Grom Audio's simple and low cost aux-input kit will allow a direct sound connection to ensure excellent sound quality.

Aux 3.5mm car audio input: Just plug the device into the extension port or CD changer port of your stereo, connect it to your favourite MP3 player, iPod, iPhone, or Android device and hear the CD quality music right away!

Data Cable:

Each Grom Audio kit comes with one vehicle specific cable (Data cable) for connection between the interface and the CDC port on the rear of the head unit.

Older Mitsubishi vehicles use the MITS02 cable, more recent models and some Peugeot/Citroen use the MITS08 cable, if close to the cutover year it is advisable to check.

Please note:  With a simple aux-input into the car stereo no control over the music playing is available via the radio/steering wheel buttons. Please see our other kits that will allow this functionality.

  • Citroen C-Crosser 2007-2012 (no NAV)
  • Citroen Aircross 2012-2014 (no NAV)
  • Mitsubishi Lancer 2008-2014 (no NAV)
  • Mitsubishi Outlander 2008-2013 (no NAV)
  • Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2011-2014 (no NAV)
  • Mitsubishi I-MiEV 2012-2013 (no NAV)
  • Mitsubishi RVR 2010-2014 (no NAV)
  • Mitsubishi ASX 2011-2014 (no NAV)
  • Peugeot 4007 2007-2012 (no NAV)
  • Peugeot 4008 2012-2014 (no NAV)

* May work on other models not listed providing CD port is present.
Note: Older Mitsubishi vehicles require the round MITS02 connection, more recent models and some Peugeot/Citroen require the rectangular MITS08 connection, if close to the cutover year it is advisable to check.

Step 1 - remove the factory head unit (see FAQ's or video clips for further help)
Step 2 - connect the Data Cable (Vehicle Specific Cable) into the typically empty CD changer port on the rear of the unit. 
Step 3 - plug the other end of the data cable into the Grom interface which is small enough to leave behind the stereo or ideally route into the glove box.
Step 4 - Install head unit and enjoy!
